An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein

Explore the darkly comic world of Shel Silverstein, a world where nothing is as it seems and where the most innocent conversation can turn menacing in an instant. The ten imaginative plays in this collection range widely in content, but the style is unmistakable. The master wordsmith turns his focus from children to more mature audiences. From a woman who is slowly transforming into a bag lady to a pair of rhyming prostitutes, Silverstein’s dialogue is creative, surprising and at some points almost unnerving.

All Auditions will be held in the Gryphon Theatre at the Laramie Plains Civic Center, 710 E. Garfield, Laramie. Special Audition arrangements can be made.

The production will open June 21st and run through the 23rd, with possible tour dates in July. Rehearsals will begin
